The main aim for the High Complete Model series was to provide ready-made figures, aimed at children too young or adults too busy to make model kits (also covering a third, unspoken-of group - people like me who are too cack-handed to make them). In an odd sort of way the series was almost a Real Robot version of Chogokin, replacing diecast and bright colours with plastic and anime-accurate styling, and using some seminal robots of the period. From 1984 to 1989, 25 figures were issued. Twelve were sourced from Gundam series and books, with others coming from the likes of Macross, L-Gaim and Vifam as well as a slightly bizarre reappearance from the then-unfashionable Raideen.
This page is only likely to feature the Gundam ones for the foreseeable future =) For a superb summary of the High Complete Model line including a full checklist, see the ever-excellent ToyboxDX Datafile
