Gobots didn't really have a comic like Transformers did. However, there were several attempts at something similar - Bandai licensed the British rights for the line, then still titled Robo Machine (although many Gobots character names are used) to IPC, who ran a storyline in the Eagle comic from November 1984 to July 1985. After this was cancelled, World Distributors then made two hardbacked annuals, containing text stories, also exclusive to the UK. In America, there was the Gobot Magazine, which contained short cartoon-based strips. And the Australian Machine Men line gave us two toy pack-in comics as well.
