"The Battle for Gobotron"

Despite his lack of hands, Staks was still allowed in the Guardians. He participated in the storming of the Renegades' Gobotron Fortress, and helped capture its' defenders, using his lasers to cut open one of the internal doors. During Cy-Kill's invasion of Gobotron, he was damaged defending the planet and presumably captured. Staks was freed when the Guardians retook the planet.

He was then assigned to guard Industrial Moon Zeta 3 along with Wrong Way, but the power of the alien Al-Vanar's fleet led to the pair abandoning the facility. Staks later served on Earth, using his firepower to buy the Guardians' time against the Renegades' Puzzler, before donning a Powersuit and helping destroy the robot. He would later join Sparky in running a cargo of surveillance equipment to Earth, only to be forced to abandon ship when the Renegades attacked.

Staks also appeared as part of the Blue Team at Guardian Academy, later being placed with the Secret Riders team. However, considering how much it contradicts his other appearances, I find it difficult to see this as anything other than a massive continuity error.

Staks appeared in the following episodes:

"The Battle for Gobotron", "Earthbound", "The Fall of Gobotron", "Renegade Alliance", "Auto-Madic", "Nova Beam", "Whiz Kid", "Braxis Goes Bonkers", "Fitor to the Finish", "Guardian Academy"
