"The Fall of Gobotron"

Having worked as a guard before, the bolshy, determined Sparky volunteered to help Turbo and Scooter infiltrate Gobotron's Prison Moon in order to prevent Leader-1 being disassembled. While they were successful breaking in thanks to Sparky's knowledge, the Guardians weren't in time to save their leader. With help from the Last Engineer they managed to gather the parts needed to repair him, but Sparky and Scooter were separated from the others, and chased by Geeper-Creeper and BuggyMan. They managed to escape, and eventually found the Command Center the Renegades were using to hold Guardian prisoners. She helped Scooter force the Renegades to abandon the ship, and freed the prisoners onboard. Despite this showing, Sparky considered herself to be jinxed, claiming she was always in the wrong place at the wrong time. This was perhaps borne out when, during the climactic assault on Roguestar, a near miss on the Command Center knocked her into the Guardians' stolen stealth device, revealing the ship to the Renegades. Nevertheless, the Guardians won the battle.

Later, Sparky was captured by the Renegades while attempting to defend an Astro-Beam prototype on Gobotron. Cy-Kill ordered her executed, but the reluctant Steamer spared her instead. Later she co-piloted for Staks when running a consignment of surveillance components to Earth, only to be forced to abandon ship when the Renegades attacked the heavily-laden Command Center. Sparky also worked as an assistant to Professor Von Joy on the Guardians' Space Lab, but again was forced to abandon it when Crasher boarded the facility. In something of a developing pattern, she was then posted to the Guardians' massive Earth-orbiting Space Fortress, and again had to escape with her fellow Guardians before it was destroyed by a dropped sample of the element quantumite. Always in the wrong place at the wrong time indeed, but at least she didn't let it get her down.

Sparky appeared in the following episodes:
