"The Battle for Gobotron"
VOICE ACTOR: Sparky Marcus, Ike Eisenmann

A young NASA cadet, Nick was drawn into the Gobots' war when Thruster destroyed the satellite he was meant to be repairing. Along with Matt and AJ he became good friends with the Guardians, and was given a full posting when NASA developed into UNECOM. Nick was something of a gifted scientist, and a bit of a weed - meaning he got on very well with Scooter. While he was braver than his Guardian friend, his high level of intelligence was at odds with the abject stupidity Nick displayed on many occasions.

However, he was always upbeat and easygoing, and was also the only member of the UNECOM team to show any faith in the defecting Renegade Steamer. He also seemed to take a shine to another feckless nerd, tomboyish inventor Buddy. Nick would also run courses at the Guardian Academy.

IMDB and the like are contradictory as to who voiced Nick when. As far as I can tell, child actor Sparky Marcus retired in 1984, so it's most likely he only did the voice for the initial "Battle for Gobotron" mini-series, with Eisenmann handling it for the series. The latter is credited for Gobots: Battle of the Rock Lords, the only Gobots cartoon with onscreen credits.
