DREADNOK
  Code Name: BUZZER

One of the three original Dreadnoks put under Zartan's command, Buzzer was the one with the British accent in the cartoon, and the one who got most of the lines in the various comics. He also attacked Junkyard with a chainsaw in the American book, which was quite amusing if, like me, you didn't really like Mutt and Junkyard. Oh, don't be like that, Junkyard survived anyway.

Given the popularity of the Dreadnoks, a 25th version was perhaps inevitable - though there was only one variant made (the other two originals, Torch and Ripper, both got alternate schemes), possibly because Buzzer stayed looking more or less the same in the comic, cartoon and toyline. However, this isn't much of a problem as they pretty much got him right first time.

The whole poise and look of the figure is spot on, leaning just a bit towards the more threatening comic version. Buzzer has a muscular look and a superb head cast, with good details like the single shoulder pad and glove, plus those silver shades.

Best of all, rather than the slightly unconvincing chainsaw-gun the original figure and cartoon model sported, Buzzer has a great big actual bloody chainsaw (plus a tank of gas for the thing on his back). It makes him look that bit more like a big bastard biker, rather than comic relief, while it's also got a flexible enough handle to allow a decent range of poses (though go careful, the blade will bend nastily if not stored properly). I've always liked Buzzer even if he was a bit silly, but this figure really brings out the best side of him while toning down the silliness by just the right amount.
