Starring Paul McGann and Sylvester McCoy as The Doctor

160 Doctor Who

The controversial film gets a lot of things right - a wonderful, largely silent turn from McCoy, an excellent Doctor from McGann and a dangerous Master. It does as it pleases with continuity, but only the half-human stuff rankles - mainly because its pointless and patronising, seemingly thinking we can't like the guy unless he's got blood links to the planet. The biggest problem, though, is that after a passable start, the plot falls to bits in the final act. A series would have been interesting, though.
